Oil labels must convey the features of the oil contained in the bottle, highlighting the qualities and the origin of the olives used to make it, the naturalness of the product and perfect gastronomic purposes.

Under the regulation governing food product labelling, the oil label shall always state: the sales name, the net quantity, the origin, the date of production, producer’s and packager’s details, the batch number, the storage conditions, the ingredients and the statement “do not release to the environment”.
